MWC 2025 showcased DoubleT’s industrial safety solution, Heimdall, capturing the attention of European industry professionals. This AI and location-based sensor technology is designed to detect and prevent various risks in construction sites and factories.
DoubleT CEO Youngjun Kim highlighted that traditional industrial safety systems primarily rely on fixed cameras, which are costly and limited in application. “Heimdall is designed with precise sensor-based location tracking that allows real-time hazard detection and response,” he explained.
Heimdall is an advanced system that accurately analyzes the location of hazards and workers to predict potential accidents. For instance, an immediate alert is triggered if a smart helmet worker approaches a high-risk area. In the event of a fall, an automatic emergency alert is sent to 119.
“Construction sites pose various risks, including falls, collisions, and slips. Heimdall collects real-time data on temperature, humidity, and weather conditions to predict accident risks in advance,” Kim emphasized.

Heimdall’s core technology is its precision in sensor-based location tracking. Unlike conventional camera-based systems, Heimdall utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to pinpoint worker locations with an accuracy of 1.5 meters.
“Workers receive warnings via smartphone or dedicated devices if they enter hazardous areas. A key advantage is its ability to provide safety measures regardless of language barriers, making it highly effective in workplaces with diverse workforces,” said Kim.
He explained that falls are a frequent cause of workplace injuries. Still, Heimdall immediately warns workers when they enter danger zones through vibrations or alarms, offering a proactive safety approach beyond traditional training.
Currently, Heimdall is being increasingly adopted in small and medium-sized manufacturing facilities. Factories with official registrations can receive clean workplace certifications and government subsidies, making adoption more attractive. The company is also exploring partnerships with public institutions such as the Seoul Metro and SH Corporation to implement Heimdall in subway stations and construction sites.
Heimdall’s global demand is also rising. DoubleT is collaborating with its existing partner, Budermansha, in China, along with three additional companies. Given China’s tightening industrial safety regulations, AI-driven real-time hazard detection solutions like Heimdall are gaining traction. DoubleT is expanding its presence in China to provide industrial security and smart factory solutions.

Additionally, DoubleT has established partnerships with four companies through a Vietnamese trade exhibition, accelerating its entry into the rapidly industrializing Vietnamese market. With the growing demand for safety management technologies, Heimdall has the potential to become a standard safety system in factories and construction sites.
CEO Kim emphasized that industrial safety is directly linked to human lives, making precision technology essential. “Our goal is to enhance global safety standards in industrial settings through continuous technological advancements. MWC 2025 provided an invaluable platform to showcase Heimdall’s impact on industrial safety. We will solidify DoubleT’s global presence by setting new safety benchmarks worldwide.”
DoubleT’s participation in MWC 2025 marks a pivotal moment in redefining industrial safety technology, paving the way for a safer and smarter workplace globally.
